What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead energy data analysis and contract development with utilities and suppliers
- Analyze energy industry trends and policies to reduce costs and advance sustainability
- Partner with internal stakeholders on energy project development and ROI analysis
- Manage budgeting and accruals for utilities across all Nordstrom facilities
- Establish strong relationships with landlords, vendors, and consultants for energy-related matters
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, engineering, or business
- 5+ years of experience in project management and wholesale/retail power markets
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize workload and delegate tasks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Business travel required up to 30% based on business needs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Broad understanding of the power industry and power markets
- MBA or post-graduate degree in relevant fields
- Experience working with energy and utility providers
- Strong analytical capabilities for reviewing utility tariffs and power contracts
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
