      Program Manager – Health Strategy

      Location: Must reside in Texas (Remote work with travel to UT System campuses as needed)

We’re seeking a dynamic Program Manager – Health Strategy to help drive large-scale healthcare collaborations across the University of Texas (UT) System's eight health institutions.

      What You’ll Do

      As a Program Manager, you’ll lead and support multiple strategic initiatives that align with the One UT Health Strategic Framework. This includes collaborations in pharmacy, workforce development, patient access, operations, managed care, and more.

      Key responsibilities include:

      • Managing day-to-day operations for major UT System Health Enterprise collaborations and initiatives.
      • Launching and supporting new cross-campus programs
      • Conducting industry analysis to support the development and sustainability of new collaborations and initiatives.
      • Working closely with executives, clinicians and administrative teams across UT System
      • Facilitating planning meetings, tracking milestones, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
      • Preparing presentations and project updates for leadership
      • Traveling occasionally to UT institutions to support on-site collaboration

      What You Bring

      We’re looking for someone who is strategic, collaborative, and experienced working in complex healthcare environments.

      The ideal candidate will have:

      • A Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree in Business, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field strongly preferred
      • At least 5 years of progressive experience in project or program management
      • Experience engaging with executive healthcare leaders and clinical stakeholders
      • Exposure to healthcare systems, insurance/managed care, or academic medical centers
      • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
      • Comfort managing multi-partner initiatives and creating opportunities to facilitate collaboration
      • Flexibility to travel to UT System campuses in Texas as needed

      Education
      Required: Bachelor's degree
      Preferred: Master's degree

      Experience
      Required: Five years related experience to include three years program management experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. With preferred degree, three years of required experience.
