      PROGRAM MANAGER I

      The Program Manager I within the Undergraduate Medical Education division of the Department of Medical Education will undertake various crucial duties vital to the smooth operation of the curriculum and student engagements. These include tasks such as coordinating schedules with Clinical Skills team leaders and arranging activities like Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) activities, OSCEs, standardized patient encounters, managing MEDMap entries, facilitating support for lectures by collaborating with lecturers and ensuring the smooth recording and posting of lectures through MEIS, as well as arranging necessary resources for patient exam demonstrations. Additionally, responsibilities extend to being the point of contact for Clinical Skills Teaching Associates (CSTA), setting up training sessions, keeping attendance for sessions, and coordinating weekly activities. This position will be the point of contact for the Clinical Skills Scholars Program (CSSP), assist in scholars' recruitment and renewals, and coordinate quarterly meetings. Additionally, I proctor exams, maintain communication channels, actively participate in key meetings, and manage supplementary tasks like roster management and communication with course representatives. Furthermore, support is provided for the planning and execution of third-year OSCEs, along with aiding in patient access with a focus on efficiency and precision throughout the process and managing the HSOM UAB Butterfly Academy account and POCUS devices.

      Key Duties and Primary Responsibilities:

      • Coordinating schedules with Clinical Skills team leaders and organizing activities such as Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) activities and OSCEs
      • Managing MEDMap entries and ensuring the smooth recording and posting of lectures through MEIS
      • Facilitating support for lectures by collaborating with lecturers and arranging necessary resources for patient exam demonstrations
      • Acting as the point of contact for Clinical Skills Teaching Associates (CSTA), setting up training sessions, and keeping attendance records
      • Coordinating weekly activities and serving as the point of contact for the Clinical Skills Scholars Program (CSSP), assisting in recruitment, renewals, and organizing meetings
      • Proctoring exams, maintaining communication channels, and actively participating in key meetings
      • Managing supplementary tasks like roster management and communication with course representatives
      • Supporting the planning and execution of third-year OSCEs and aiding in patient access with a focus on efficiency and precision
      • Managing the HSOM UAB Butterfly Academy account and POCUS devices
      • Serve as a proctor for MS1 and MS2 exams (ICM and Basic Sciences)
      • Performs other duties as assigned

      Annual Salary: $41,175 - $66,915

      Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement
