Come join our Enterprise Operations Group, focused on delivering enterprise-wide capabilities that advance Nordstrom’s top strategic priorities. This role will support the Enterprise Clarity Initiative, which aims to provide trusted insights from one source of truth for leaders to make timely decisions and execute effectively. You will be responsible for organizing and orchestrating the program initiatives to deliver trusted insights for effective data-driven decision-making while also developing and supporting the team’s program and project management playbooks. Additionally, you will focus on various cross-functional projects and workstreams aligned with JWN’s top priorities, collaborating with business leaders, product management, data science, and technology teams to identify, prioritize, and champion a culture of data-driven decision-making.

      A day in the life…

      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and maintain the program roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
      • Prepare comprehensive weekly status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
      • Oversee the intake process for new project requests, ensuring proper documentation and prioritization.
      • Manage and update project backlogs and JIRA boards, ensuring tasks are accurately tracked, prioritized, and assigned.
      • Develop and maintain high-level project overviews, providing clear and concise summaries of project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
      • Develop and support the project and program management playbooks.
      • Facilitate CIA sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions, ensuring effective planning and resource allocation for upcoming sprints.
      • Lead retrospective meetings to review completed sprints, identify areas for improvement, and implement actionable feedback.
      • Conduct standup meetings to ensure team alignment, address roadblocks, and track progress towards sprint goals.
      • Provide comprehensive project management support, including planning, resource management, risk assessment, and effective stakeholder communication.
      • Support the development and execution of a comprehensive data governance strategy for the Clarity initiative, in alignment with the overall company strategy and objectives.
      • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business metrics, define data quality metrics, and establish data ownership and stewardship.
      • Develop and maintain the program roadmap, and identify, escalate, and help resolve issues and risks in the delivery.
      • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization through training, education, and communication.
      • Supplement other roles and responsibilities to deliver the program’s initiatives, as needed.

The ideal candidate is motivated, proactive, and results-oriented. This role will require a unique blend of strategic thinking, program and project management, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to take ownership and move with speed to help drive challenging, complex enterprise insights. The candidate will need to be comfortable working across stakeholder groups, including merchandising, technology, supply chain, stores, change management, and communications. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Operations - Clarity, Insights, and Analytics.
