- Req#: 10390
- Promote and lead a disciplined approach to project management for indirect material savings projects
- Issue weekly updates and monthly ELT reports on indirect material savings project status
- Liaison between corporate indirect team and plant purchasing project managers
- Chair meetings and drive resolutions on project implementation issues
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create team accountability for projects.
- Ability to travel periodically within the region / area of support as needed.

SUMMARY:
The incumbent will be responsible for the planning, task assignments and follow up of indirect material savings projects in accordance with well-defined goals (performance, timing, cost) . This person will make a significant contribution to improving the overall program management, responsiveness and reputation of Tenneco.
An ideal candidate for this position is a candidate who possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, PMI Certification and experience in the automotive industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to achieve results through others, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of program management APQP processes are all necessary qualifications for this position.
