      Program Performance & Planning Intern

      Program Performance and Planning (PPP) advances a culture of learning, strategic program development, and data-driven performance management in pursuit of the agency’s mission and vision, which is: in full partnership with families and communities, Graham Windham strives to make a life-altering difference with children, youth and families who are overcoming some of life’s most difficult challenges and obstacles, by helping to build a strong foundation for life: a safe, loving, permanent family and the opportunity and preparation to thrive in school and in the world. PPP partners with program managers to select and develop new interventions, analyze and interpret data, assess model fidelity and program effectiveness, train and coach staff, and develop program resources and fundraising.

      Qualifications:

      • Must be motivated, organized, and possess good communication skills
      • MSW Student Preferred
      • Preferably full time or part time college students

      Project assignments will include, and are not limited to:

      1. Aggregating parent, youth, and family and staff feedback from both customer service satisfaction surveys and from parent and youth roundtables as well as staff Town Hall meetings.
      2. Aggregating Case Record Reviews for Foster Care, Preventive, Mental Health, Health Homes and Care Coordination to share information on the quality of practice, model fidelity and Medicaid compliance.
      3. Assist with advocacy initiatives and new program development
      4. Shadowing Senior Leadership within Program Performance Planning to observe and participate in discussions around strategic planning, monthly management meetings, birth parent, foster parent and direct practice roundtables.
      5. Prospect research for potential funding sources.
      6. Support of the Learning and Practice Proficiency Team (Training & Staff Development/Coaching).


      Intern will gain field work experience and knowledge in the following areas:

      • How to clean and analyze data
      • How to tell a story using data
      • How to translate that information into user friendly graphs and tables and how to use that information to support best practice
      • How to develop and implement new approaches and advocate for public funding and support for those approaches.
