- Manage/coordinate responses to emergent issues and drive the team to a timely solution
- Manage/coordinate design and planning liabilities in support of major construction milestones
- Create and analyze BST metrics for communicating with senior leadership
- Prepare and coordinate meetings to demonstrate progress, challenges, and resolution plans
- Prepare reports and presentations for Program Reviews
- Work closely with engineering and planning to drive solutions that support both technical and program objectives
- De-conflicting competing priorities and managing program risk
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in EB Engineering, Program Office, Design, Construction Management, Test, or Planning
- Project management and team leadership experience
- 5 years' experience at in EB Engineering, Program Office, Design, Construction Management, Test, or Planning
- Experience with Teamcenter, PCM, ARTEMIS or other EB Business Systems
- Experience working with Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel is highly desirable
- Experience in leading significant tasks such as TLSs, RIEs or special projects
- Strong work ethic and highly developed communication and written skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter capable of prioritizing work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

The COLUMBIA Class Build Strategy Team (BST) is seeking a Program Representative to support the various teams supporting emergent construction needs and serial production. In this role, you will get exposure to various facets of the Electric Boat enterprise including design and engineering, planning, finance, contracts, construction and facilities. With the diverse areas of work to be completed, you will encounter new challenges each day and can leverage your experience in new ways. The BST organization is a re-establishment of the Design-Build teams led by the Major Area Team Leaders (MATLs) to perform systematic review of build strategy, planning liabilities, Lead Ship Only (LSO) activities, and electronic Manufacturing Assembly Plans (eMAPs) to realize significant construction schedule & cost improvements in focused areas of the ship.
As a Program Representative, you will be responsible for coordinating between the various teams and efforts to provide continuity of metrics and progress tracking.
This role requires an understanding of project management and the ability to support the fast paced environment of COLUMBIA Class construction. Frequent communication with BST management and the MATLs will be crucial.
