    • Assist in selecting instructional materials and managing instructional resources.

    • Support school-based staff development and participate in staff development activities to enhance professional growth.

    • Supervise, implement, and evaluate programs that directly affect classroom instruction.

    • Gather, analyze, and use data to inform planning and decision-making.

    • Stay abreast of the latest educational trends, resources, research, instructional strategies, and effective school practices through professional development.

    • Assist in the selection, induction, support, and retention of quality instructional and support personnel.

    • Assist in evaluating teacher performance and providing continuous feedback.

    • Manage student discipline, data input related to schedules, assessment data, demographics, and other pertinent student information using the student data collection software and other files.

    • Help establish and maintain favorable relationships by communicating and collaborating effectively with faculty, staff, students, parents, and the community.

    • Promote the success of all students by developing, advocating, and sustaining an academically rigorous, positive, and safe school climate for all stakeholders.

    • Act as a contact person for parents, teachers, supervisors and employers.

    • Assist in coordinating parent involvement activities for transition.

    • Develop Individual Education Program goals to appropriately target academic goals.

    • Assist with coordinating Exceptional Educational activities to coordinate transition.

    • Demonstrate professional standards and ethics while engaging in duties and responsibilities as an educator.

    • Perform other appropriate duties as determined by the principal and central-level administrators.

      Supervises: All staff assigned to program

      Work Days: 240 days

      Qualifications:

      Other Functions:

      Daily attendance and punctuality are required to ensure the goals of the work unit are met.

      Working Environment:

      The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands:

      Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally, the job requires 65% walking/standing, 25% sitting and 10% lifting/carrying.
