- To achieve and to maintain compliance with regulations within PA Chapters §5310; §6400 and §6500 that reference the work/service responsibilities of Program Specialists.
- To provide training (1) to participants upon enrollment, and annually, rights of the individual and civil rights, complaint process and grievance process, and (2) to residential staff on provisions and updates to the Individual Support Plan (ISP).
- M.A. Degree in Human Services/Social Sciences/Healthcare or a related field and at least 1 year of experience in the MR field; or a B.A. Degree and at least 2 years of experience in the MR field; or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.
- Microsoft office skills, spreadsheets and ability to type at least 55 wpm.
- Excellent problem solving, oral and writing skills.
- Good verbal, written and analytical skills.
- Very good communication skills; prior experience in writing service goals/outcomes, required.
- Ability to work independently and detail oriented.
