      Bachelor’s Degree and two years of experience in career, academic, human services, or related work experience.

      This position is Monday - Friday, up to 19.5 hours a week with required travel to Towson University.

      1. Assist Program Coordinator in the operations and administration of the Freshman Transition Program.
      2. Assist with planning and facilitating information sessions for prospective Transition Program students.
      3. Assist with the proctoring of placement testing and advising for Transition Program students onsite at the university.
      4. Contributes to planning efforts for new faculty and student orientation sessions.
      5. Assist Program Coordinator with registering Transition Program students based on placement test results.
      6. Attend and assist with program-specific advisor training sessions.
      7. Advise a caseload of up to 20 students and maintain regular office hours at the university.
      8. Assist with extensive student outreach addressing financial aid and bill payment deadlines.
      9. Connect students to support services that remove barriers and increase program success and completion.
      10. Provide academic direction and guidance for current students enrolled in the Freshman Transition program.
      11. Maintain collaborative relationships with Towson University and CCBC staff in support of student success and program completion.
