      As a Programmer Analyst (Eagle, ID) at United Rentals, you will analyze user specifications and requirements related to moderately complex systems applications and generate programs to meet user needs.

      What you’ll do:

      • Write application programs:

      • Convert specifications into programming language

      • Verification of program logic by preparing test data for trial runs

      • De-bug applications, including performing initial testing after problem has been fixed

      • Produce functional (technical) specification document:

      • Outline data structures that need to change and timeframe for making changes

      • Create promotion document: outline steps for putting program into production

      • Implement program and execute program after testing

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

      • 3 years application development using J2SE 1.4 or higher

      • 1 year SQL/Relational Database experience

      • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects

      • Strong sense of urgency concerning deadlines

      • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
