Job Description

- Work closely and partner with the Head of Partnerships and Planning.
- Assist Entertainment and Partnership Programming leadership with ideation and operational execution of all key cultural programs across entertainment, culture, food & beverage, hotel and the various NYC-centric and Virgin corporate cultural brand pillars.
- Understand our brand, products and customers to ensure the programming execution meets the marketing strategy and reflects the brand.
- Project manage the implementation of the programs, gathering all relevant information from key cross-functional partners in operational departments.
- Oversee install of partnership programs to ensure all partner and programming needs are met.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of programming and entertainment pipeline, vendor needs and any relevant vendor or partner follow-ups.
- Assist the Entertainment and Partnership Programming leadership in creating programming decks, partnership materials, entertainment calendars and any related asset requests from the marketing and creative departments.
- Facilitate weekly cross-functional and cross-departmental meetings in order to communicate all promotions and initiatives in a timely and professional manner. You will be responsible for their recording and distribution of next steps and keeping everyone accountable in their follow-ups by gathering the next steps outputs.
- Maintain accurate and current tracking systems for all partnership, programming and entertainment KPIs against all programming.
- Great team player with the ability creates excellent working relationships across the organization. We celebrate a collaborative approach with all departments, particularly in operations, food & beverage and of course, the sales & marketing and entertainment/events team.

- Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working in project management, partnerships, programming, events or entertainment.
- Degree in Business or Liberal Arts preferred but not required.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with clients, guests, vendors, teammates/management, in person, in writing and on the telephone.
- Proficient computer knowledge in all Microsoft Products and Adobe Creative Suite

As the Programming Coordinator you will assist the Entertainment Director and Head of Partnerships and Programming in executing marketing strategies to achieve Hotel, Partnership, Programming, Guest Experience and Food & Beverage revenue goals, drive awareness of your Virgin Hotels and Food and Beverage outlets and engage with the community by assisting with your social networks and review sites.
You’ll be part of a team building incredible and relevant partnership, entertainment and cultural programming content. This includes project managing the various campaigns, programs and productions from inception to realization on property, as well as the reporting on these activities to the relative stakeholders.
