      Job Description

      U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Program/Project Manager in Minneapolis, MN.

      Essential Responsibilities:

      The Program/Project Manager position uses strong strategic and enterprise project management experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. The Program/Project Manager directs the overall work efforts of a project team. Responsibilities include: Provide oversight to meet established function, quality, cost, and schedule goals and objectives for large sized programs/projects with extensive complexity for multi-year initiatives. Manage programs/projects from initial concept through post implementation, including multiple implementation cycles. Plan and control multiple related projects with complex dependencies and shared resources and trains others in the use of planning tools. Build relationships with sponsoring executives and among different groups within and outside the department while serving as a liaison. Address issues via direct one-on-one dialog with resources. Clarify boundaries of acceptable risk and removes obstacles. Author project management artifacts and develop and maintain project plans. Work with resource managers to obtain resources. Ensure project governance is established and observed. Recognize, clarify, and prioritize project plan activities. Author effective, clear, concise, and relevant communication for program/project stakeholders. Communicate difficult and/or complex ideas and presents the appropriate message to audiences up to and including Senior Vice Chair. Determine knowledge and skills required for successful project outcomes. Promote collaborative relationships across project team members. Telecommuting available anywhere in U.S.

      Basic Qualifications:

      The qualified candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology or closely related field. The qualified candidate must have at least 8 years (96 months) of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience.

      Required Skills/Experience:

      The qualified candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology or closely related field. The qualified candidate must have at least 8 years (96 months) of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience with all the following: leading the release of large deployments for banking and financial institutions; ensuring artifact adherence, run book coordination and deployment support; organizing and leading pre- and post-project product improvement planning; reviewing code and making suggestions for improvement; developing and presenting customized status reports for committees and executives; leading sprints to move work product through the software development lifecycle; working with all the following tools/technologies: J2EE, HTML5, Spring Boot, AJAX, AWS, Node.js, Angular JS, Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, and Clarity PPM.

      Telecommuting available anywhere in US. HQ at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $ 149,344.00 - $190,400.00 .
