  Annual Salary $61,748.27 + Full State Employee Benefits

  Job Duties

  • Position serves as a Facilitator with the Continuous Quality Improvement-Quality Assurance team assisting in self-assessments and promoting dialogue regarding the identification of areas of improvement, improvement barriers, and bright spots in their Child Welfare practice.
  • Assists field staff with utilizing reports for performance management processes.
  • Gathers staff input at all levels, including external stakeholders.
  • Distributes info gathered during reviews and back to teams in a uniform manner and works with district offices to develop improvement plans.
  • Mentors staff to increase the skill level of staff and management for better outcomes for children and families.
  • Ability to work on a diverse team and directly with people from diverse backgrounds specifically racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and disabilities.

  Preferred Minimum Qualifications

  • A master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
    

  -or-

  • An equivalent combination and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.

  *Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered.

  Preference Statement

  Preference may be given to applicants who have at least 3 years of Child Welfare experience with at least one year as a supervisor.
