      Responsibilities

      Has responsibility for Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance of Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP) and Drivehead equipment. Duties may involve some technical elements but primarily focused on running PCP systems. Role is hands-on and directly manipulates the equipment, machinery or system; requiring precise instrumentation/operation. Acts at field operations as an effective member of a field crew, supporting the delivery under supervision of a Field Engineer or Field Specialist.

      Responsibilities and duties:

      • Demonstrate strong competence in mechanical aptitude and thorough understanding of rotating equipment.
      • Knowledge and understanding of (Progressing Cavity Pump) PCP and Drivehead operating principles will be considered an asset.
      • Knowledge in the installation and commissioning of (Progressing Cavity Pump) PCP systems will be considered a strong asset.
      • Demonstrate strong competence in the assembling of motors, pulleys, belts onto Drivehead.
      • Knowledge in the Troubleshooting of Driveheads and (Progressing Cavity Pump) PCP issues in the Field will be considered a strong asset.
      • Performs functional tests, inspection, and monitoring of Drivehead & PCPs with strict adherence to specific work instructions against the level of training & competence.
      • Follows maintenance processes & procedures to undertake the following: unloading, disassembly, cleaning & testing of Driveheads, PCP testing, visual checking, assembly, loading, and storage of tools, completing all necessary documentation as required against their level of training & competence.
      • Perform Calibration/Assembly and Maintenance of Gas Lift Valves
      • Support the Reciprocating Rod Lift Product Line with inventory management and support to the client.
      • Performs duties according to documented Weatherford policies and complies with all Standard Operating Procedures and Workplace Practices
      • Participates in all daily shop and Rig operations & safety meetings, toolbox, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and reports any issues promptly using the appropriate tools.
      • Maintains equipment, facilities, and work area in a presentable and safe working condition.

      Qualifications

      • 3-5 years’ Experience in a Mechanical and Petroleum Operations work environment
      • Diploma – Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
      • Mechanical Aptitude
      • Work flexible schedule and long hours
      • Strong knowledge of Rotating Equipment
      • Knowledge of Artificial Lift Systems Particularly Progressive Cavity Pumps (PCPs), Reciprocating Rod Lift (RRL) and Gas Lift Systems will be an asset.
      • Ability to read instruction manuals and assemble Drivehead equipment.
