      $75.00-$83.00/hr
      Hybrid in office in Rosemead, CA Mon and Tues
      Mon-Fri 8-5
      6 month contract


      Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload
      Data Extraction & Transformation:
      Collaborate with SQL developers to extract and transform data suitable for analysis.
      Write SQL queries to gather necessary datasets from databases.

      Dashboard Development:
      Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
      Ensure dashboards are visually appealing and user-friendly.

      Data Modeling:
      Create and manage data models in Power BI, ensuring accurate relationships between datasets.

      Performance Optimization:
      Optimize Power BI reports for performance, reducing loading times and enhancing user experience.
      Debug and resolve any issues that arise with the Power BI dashboards.

      User Training & Support:
      Provide support and training to end-users, helping them understand and interact with the dashboards effectively.

      Maintenance & Updates:
      Regularly update dashboards with new data, maintaining data integrity and relevance.
      Monitor dashboard performance and user feedback for continuous improvement.

      Collaboration:
      Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate on dashboard designs.
      Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and roadmap.
      Required Skills/Attributes
      SQL Expertise:
      Strong understanding of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and transformation.
      Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.

      Power BI Expertise:
      Proven experience in developing dashboards and reports in Power BI.
      Knowledge of Power Query and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for data manipulation.

      Data Visualization Principles:
      Understanding of data visualization best practices to create clear and impactful dashboards.

      Analytical Skills:
      Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data trends and provide insights.

      Attention to Detail:
      Meticulous in ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the dashboard development process.

      Communication Skills:
      Effective communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

      User Experience (UX) Awareness:
      Awareness of user experience design principles to enhance dashboard usability.
      Domain Knowledge:
      Desired Skills/Attributes
      Experience with Other BI Tools:
      Familiarity with other business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) can be an asset.

      Knowledge of ETL Processes:
      Understanding of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools for data integration.

      Project Management Skills:
      Ability to manage projects, timelines, and prioritize tasks efficiently.

      Education Requirement:
      Bachelor's Degree
