What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Format manuscripts, proofread, and handle correspondence
- Assist in copy editing changes and learn the operation of scholarly publications
- Work closely with editors to review and revise manuscripts for publication
- Develop a fine-grained view of structuring and presenting high-quality arguments in linguistics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Excellent organizational, writing, and proofreading skills in English
- Proficiency in word processing and basic website updating
- Broad knowledge of general linguistics
- Preference for students in the Linguistics Graduate Program
- Some knowledge of Algonquian languages is preferred
