- Req#: 2465
- Design and coordination of work on multidiscipline projects ranging from due diligence/site feasibility studies, site engineering, through regulatory approvals and full permitting.
- Develop site layout and design, including site grading and storm drainage, roadway design, water and sewer infrastructure, erosion and sediment control.
- Prepare hydrology and hydraulic calculations and be knowledgeable of NYSDEC stormwater management and SWPPP requirements.
- Perform project administration including writing reports, gathering information, writing proposals & correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports.
- Prepare engineer's opinion of probable costs for designed projects and specifications for public bids.
- Coordinate with other engineering and architectural departments within the firm.
- Communicate directly with clients in support and coordination of all project activities.
- Responsible for the on-time, on budget, high quality technical delivery of all project requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
- Strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills, Autoturn, Excel, and Photoshop.
- Design experience with a specific focus on site development or municipal engineering projects
- Thorough understanding of the entitlement processes on Long Island.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices of related technical areas.
- Familiarity with the design of public infrastructure and public bidding process.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently or within project teams.
- Team-spirited, focused and able to make independent decisions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- EIT/PE desired.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications – not related to any applicant’s characteristics protected by local, state or federal law .
