      Summary

      Develop, implement, analyze and maintain comprehensive, integrated project schedules and cost baselines predicated on through analysis of project requirements by applying advanced project controls and business system techniques.

      Maintains project controls by performing training, auditing, and assisting the project control team with estimating, forecasting costs, schedules, and labor.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      • Develop, implement, analyze and maintain critical path method logic diagrams that require critical path analysis for time and resource management of manpower, or equipment or facilities.
      • Perform complex analysis and summarize data to validate project control parameters with consideration given to performance, reliability, maintainability and cost/schedule control criteria.
      • Evaluate changes in procedures or system design and communicate recommended solutions to management.
      • Assess potential cost and schedule impacts.
      • Coordinate and maintain cost/planning/schedule database operations, and review and analyze project control data or results, and assist in preparation of management reports along with corresponding recommendations.
      • Participate in planning meetings as appropriate and gather data for database input.
      • Investigate all deviations from established cost and and schedule baselines, appraise and make recommendations to management concerning corrective actions or workarounds to meet established objectives.
      • Prepared and issue periodic status/critical items reports to management that highlight significant program issues and potential delays to project milestones and financial objectives.
      • Develop, implement, analyze and maintain cost and schedule trend program, baseline change project and forecast process.
      • May lead review meetings or assume primary role in the responsibility for the scheduling portion of the division, department or project plan-of-the-day meeting.
      • Estimates and forecasts all information related to costs, schedules, and labor for a given project.
      • Directs the development of material and labor takeoffs.
      • Establishes the baseline budget and schedule for the project.
      • This position has supervisory responsibilities.
      • Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit’s success also may be assigned.

      • High School Diploma or GED equivalent or ten (10) years Project Controls experience will be considered.
      • Minimum five (5) years directly related Project Controls experience in the construction and/or Oil & Gas industry required.
      • Experience working with Primavera P6.
      • Advanced skillset with Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. Steel toed boots required on the job.
