      Description

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Manages projects.
      • Coordinates the strategic planning process and monitors progress toward achieving project goals.
      • Assists in developing, administering and monitoring project related budgets.
      • Coordinates logistical arrangements for related conferences, conventions or meetings.
      • May assist in identifying funding resources and in developing funding strategies and initiatives.
      • Develops and generates various operational and statistical reports.
      • Represents and promotes the project at various speaking engagements.
      • May write grants, reports, briefings, newsletters, promotional or other written material related to the project.
      • Performs related responsibilities as required.
      • Participates in project planning and implementation.
      • Provides status updates.
      • Notifies team of project delays, concerns, and resolves project related concerns.
      • Coordinates project work plan and calendar/schedules.
      • Assists with team goal settings and creating strategic plans for upcoming Fiscal Year.
      • Tracks team goals and provide updates.
      • Monitors team progress towards achieving goals, and monitor cost savings initiatives and provide detailed reports.
      • Assists in developing project related budgets.
      • Monitors budgets for each project.
      • Assists with the development of the Shared Surgical Services team budget, and assist with various operational and statistical reports, as needed.
      • Functions as liaison for projects by coordinating, creating and sending team communications as well as sending updates to executive leadership.
      • Coordinates logistics for meetings and conferences.
      • Takes meeting minutes and tracks action items from meetings and ensures a designee is assigned to each action item.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Associates Degree required, and two (2) years of relevant project support experience.
      • Bachelors degree preferred.
      • Equivalent combination of experience, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
