      He angitūtanga: The opportunity

      In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll be joining the Project Specialisation Unit within the Parks & Community Facilities department, who are responsible for building, renewing and maintaining community assets such as parks, pools community centres and libraries.

      You’ll be responsible for the coordination and administration of capital works projects and supporting the project team and their work within the region. Some of your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining project records and financial codes in Sentient and SAP, developing and compiling project delivery and management reporting for our local boards, tracking progress of the project delivery through Sentient and against the project management framework, and coordinating the project completion documentation process.

      With strong time management skills, you’ll be technically-minded and systems savvy, and a confident user of Excel. Ideally, you’ll have minimum of three years experience in project coordination, and have previous experience in Sentient and SAP. With exceptional communication skills and an outstanding customer service ethic, you’ll be a natural at building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. You’ll be able to juggle competing priorities, thrive under pressure, and be comfortable working in a diverse team environment.
