- Prepare cost re-projections and provide explanations for budget variances in project spending.
- Prepare contract requisitions and participate in the bidding process.
- Coordinate the work order process from creation to in-service and closing, including analysis reports and journal entry reclassifications.
- Organize and manage project meetings, including strategy, kick-off, pre-bid, preconstruction, and status meetings.
- Work with project team members on project activities and communicate with TCRs, engineers, and designers on behalf of the Project Manager.
- Support Project Managers in preparing and updating various project documents, including PLMP documents, Communication Plans, Checklists, PRB requests, Safety Plans, and Project Completion Punchlists.
- Coordinate project logistics, making arrangements for temporary office/jobsite facilities, securing permits, and laydown yards.
- Prepare re-projections of project spending and cash flows, monitor budget variances, track costs, and provide analysis for SOX activities.
- Track, analyze, and submit information for un-vouchered liabilities (UVLs) and develop invoice data for billable work orders.
- Create contract requisitions, assist in preparing Request for Proposals and Scope of Work, evaluate bids, and assist in contract awarding.
- Proficiency in telecommunications, project coordination, and construction management.
- Experience with project budgets, projections, and cost tracking/analysis.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office projects and financial costing software.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including debits and credits.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or Business.
- Three years of experience working with project budgets, projections, and cost tracking/analysis.

Job Description
The Cost Analyst will play a pivotal role in coordinating project team activities and supporting Project Managers with project logistics. This position involves mentoring and training less experienced project coordinators, ensuring smooth project operations and effective communication.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $31.25/hr.
