Title : Project Data Entry Specialist - Avaya
Location : Galveston, TX 77555
Type : 6 month contract
Responsible for managing the inventory and work order system (CommIT) and data entry for the migration of over 12,000 phones from an NEC phone system to an Avaya Aura platform.
Our ideal candidate is motivated and very customer service focused with strong data entry skills. This individual will be proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on MS Excel.
Work Schedule: Standard Monday - Friday, 8am -5pm. During migration must be flexible to work nights and weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Perform basic data entry tasks into an online billing system.
•Participate in the NEC to Avaya migration as required.
•Assist in customer training related to the features of Avaya phones as required.
•Define and update departmental telecommunications documentation.
•The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and lift objects (up to 30 lbs. weight; up to 4 ft. height).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
6 months data entry experience
6 months experience in customer service or call center environment
Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office Suite with with MS Excel experience
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent typing skills
