We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our Engineering team and help lead capital projects that improve operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive innovation across our facilities.

      Located in the heart of a robust food manufacturing operation, this role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact while enjoying excellent benefits and relocation support.

      What You’ll Do:

      As a Project Engineer, you’ll be at the center of capital project execution, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external contractors to support the design, planning, budgeting, and construction of new equipment installations, upgrades, and expansions. You will:

      • Assist in managing and executing multiple capital projects across the facility

      • Develop project scopes, timelines, cost estimates, and technical documentation

      • Ensure alignment with USDA, SQF, and PSM/RMP regulatory requirements

      • Serve as a liaison between engineering, operations, contractors, and vendors

      • Monitor project milestones, resource allocation, and performance metrics

      • Oversee contractor performance and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards

      • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and enhance efficiency

      • Create and maintain detailed documentation and present updates to senior leadership

      What You Bring:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

      • 3+ years of engineering or project management experience in a manufacturing or food production setting

      • Strong technical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

      • Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite

      • Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and cross-functional project teams

      • Knowledge of food industry regulatory requirements (SQF, USDA, OSHA, etc.)

      • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
