      The Project Engineering Manager oversees the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment to maintain proper functionality and efficiency. This position is responsible for the researching and developing new designs and projects to improve manufacturing processes, proposing budgets for projects, and overseeing all the activities related to each project.

      Shift: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm, Flexibility to support 24/7 Operation

      5% Travel

      Qualifications

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
      • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
      • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field
      • Must have three (3) years experience in Field Operations, Engineering, or related
      • Must have one (1) year experience in successful execution of capex projects
      • Must have one (1) year of experience of tangible Engineering and Continuous Improvement application
      • Must have Proficiency in AutoCAD
      • Must have knowledge of general safety engineering

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • At least have a Bachelors of Science in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
      • At least have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
      • At least have three (3) years of Project Execution (Site/Regional Level)
      • At least have Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.)
      • At least have one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
      • At least have knowledge and understanding of pertinent NFPA & NEC codes.
      • At least have knowledge of Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP).
      • At least have familiarity/experience with Microsoft products including Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio

      Responsibilities

      • Execute and Implement Capital Projects related to Mfg/Filling Chemical Processes
      • Develop Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for multiple platforms both Domestically and Globally
      • Recommend and Specify new processing equipment and systems in operations
      • Manage internal and external resource groups to ensure proper installation and performance of equipment and processes
      • Create Standards and Guidelines to ensure successful leveraging of people, tools, and processes across the organization
      • Evaluate New or Innovative MFG and Filling processes
        Work with functional groups to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), eliminate processing issues and customer complaints
      • Ensure equipment meets and exceeds current Safety guidelines – Conduct PHA’s, MOC Evaluations, and other safety audits
      • Work with Environmental resources to ensure sites are staying in compliance on Engineered controls
      • Train and mentor site and divisional resources (peers, interns/co-ops, Site Engineers, Site Leadership, Regional Leadership, Process Engineers, Automation Engineers, external contractors)
