      Project Finance Manager

      The Project Finance Manager at Pacific Partnerships supports the Project Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer on infrastructure transactions with a focus on greenfield infrastructure, PPPs and renewable energy projects.

      The Project Finance Manager is responsible for key components of arranging debt, arranging equity, equity investment and financial structuring. The role extends to screening development opportunities, negotiation of risk allocation, contractual documentation, due diligence processes, oversight of financial modelling and development of new opportunities.

      For a given transaction, it is critical to secure competitive sources of finance, implement the CIMIC Group’s integrated approach to projects and appropriately represent the interest of key stakeholders.

      Located in Sydney the role will include:

      • Support Project Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer to develop, successfully close and invest in infrastructure transactions
      • Develop strategies and screen opportunities in new sectors and asset classes
      • Key components of arranging debt, arranging equity, equity investment and financial structuring
      • Input and participation in negotiation of risk allocation, documentation and development of new opportunities
      • Securing binding finance commitments on competitive terms
      • Informed and transparent advice to key stakeholders regarding finance, documentation and risk allocation
      • Implementation of business model and CIMIC Group’s integrated approach to projects
      • Monitor and, as required, provide support to Pacific Partnerships’ assets including refinancing, engagement with financiers and other strategic initiatives.
      • Development and mentoring of talent

      Our minimum requirements for this role are:

      • Tertiary Degree (Bachelor level) qualifications in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Maths or Science
      • Post-graduate study preferable (including Master of Finance or CFA)
      • Minimum of seven years’ relevant infrastructure, PPP, renewables or utilities experience
      • Recent renewable energy sector experience well regarded
      • Previous debt and/or equity finance raising experience
      • Previous exposure to construction or engineering sector desirable
      • Infrastructure sponsor/equity, project finance banking, financial advisory, debt arranging, or infrastructure funds management experience well regarded
