- Leadership of the Project Integration Team, working across the CDCPK business.
- Proactive member the CDCPK Senior Leadership Team, which is responsible for setting the vision and strategy across our three business areas to meet Uniper’s ambitions.
- Using your project experience and stakeholder management expertise, you will work across internal functions (primarily with our Asset Development colleagues) and external parties to develop and deliver Site Masterplan opportunities for the CDCPK assets .
- Playing a lead role for CDCPK in the Killingholme Energy Transformation Hub (Uniper’s Killingholme: a hydrogen hub in the making), you will nurture the interfaces with our internal Asset Development, Hydrogen and Renewables Teams alongside engagement with regional and national third-party partners, to maximise the benefits of Killingholme in a decarbonised world.
- Leading the vision and local delivery of our ‘CDC 2.0 project’, which includes finalising successful separation of our CDC gas-fired power station from the neighbouring Cottam A coal-fired power plant (third party owned, currently undergoing demolition) as well as harnessing new development opportunities to enhance the CDC site of the future.
- Using your stakeholder management skills to work collaboratively with central Uniper project delivery functions, such as Asset Improvement and Asset Services, to embrace continuous improvement and maximise the performance of CDCPK’s assets.
- Ensure all project integration activities meet internal and external audit standards, identifying potential gaps to ensure action plans are in place and progressed effectively.
- A degree (or higher) qualification in an associated subject – Engineering, Science, Energy Economics or similar. A HNC together with extensive relevant experience will also be considered.
- An applied understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation and standards and a positive safety mind set possessing the ability to drive the correct safety culture in others, supported by a safety management qualification (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health – Managing Safely / National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health Certificate).
- Demonstrable track record of Project Management capabilities and experience.
- A proven ability to identify and analyse complex situations by isolating key issues evaluating relevant data and drawing appropriate conclusions to deliver results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across functions and teams as well as with third-party project partners.
- A structured and engaging aptitude for Stakeholder Management, forming enduring working relationships and identifying win-win solutions.
- The confidence to challenge established practices and deliver imaginative solutions.
- A track record of applying continuous improvement techniques to improve performance of management systems and processes.
- Knowledge of current policies and procedures which affect project development, project integration, integrity of assets.
- Knowledge of power/industrial decarbonisation options and development requirements.
