Field Sampling and Testing – Project Leader * Oversee Daily Operations of Field Services Team * Work collaboratively to meet internal and external clients’ needs * Provide leadership and training About the role * Overseeing Safe Work Practices in the Field Team * Providing supervision * Scheduling and training * Working collaboratively with customer interface groups to meet customers’ needs * Carrying our higher level Labware tasks * Troubleshooting in all aspects * Liaising with external labs and courier companies * Defining and implementing opportunities to optimise assets, equipment, systems and processes About you * A relevant tertiary qualification (Degree and/or equivalent Certificate in Science) and demonstrated experience within a related scientific discipline * Demonstrated experience in compliance and implementation of Safety and Well Being practices * Demonstrated experience in supervising small teams * Advanced knowledge of quality assurance requirements for analysis of water, including NATA ISO17025 accreditation and ISO 9000 quality system requirements. * Demonstrated experience in all aspects of LIMS (eg, authorisation/acceptance of results, traceability of samples and ad hoc requests), scheduling tools and/or Lotus Notes (eg document management, action request and auditing) * Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives * Need to be available for additional out of hours work. * High level communication skills including proven ability to work with clients to resolve issues.
