- Maintain an awareness of all projects in the construction portfolio and the current status of Owner-Supplied Equipment for each (through direct coordination with Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Project Execution/Construction, etc.
- Identify potential concerns with Logistics / Site Deliveries
- Actively work relationships with carriers and vendors
- Oversee Logistics for all projects, including status updates with Project teams related to current delivery timing of equipment and any known/potential issues
- Organize and lead Logistics/Delivery/Laydown/Staging meetings with the RWECE/Contractor site teams, beginning with a kick-off meeting and then periodic meetings. The purpose is to set expectations for all site operations and deliverables related to logistics (receiving, tracking, laydown/staging, damage reporting, etc.).
- Identify potential concerns with project-level logistics, solve issues with vendor/carriers and site contractors, and elevate any problems or issues with the Supply Chain Planning Senior Manager
- Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision of direct reports
- Associate degree or higher
- Experience 10+ years in logistics or a combination of logistics, construction management, project management, and related fields.
- Subject Matter Expert on Logistics for materials/equipment deliveries to construction projects;
- Capacity to understand Logistics and relevant Project documents (PODs, Delivery schedules, Site routes, BOLs, Site Plans, Construction Schedules, etc);
- Working Knowledge of 3PL/4PL Logistics companies and capacity to maintain productive relationships with them;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships
- Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
- Strong leadership and communication and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
- Ability to multi-task while working independently and as part of a team
- Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
- Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
- Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts

The Project Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Logistics for delivery of RWECE Purchased Equipment, which includes substation equipment, wind turbines, PV solar panels (modules), etc) to Project construction sites in a timely fashion. This role requires a combination of capacities, including a working understanding of construction project site operations of spec, carriers, and products being delivered and an understanding of significant equipment and its relevance to the project delivery process.

This position is office-based, with some travel and visits to other RWECE offices and field locations. The employee must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time.
Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $96,000.00 - $144,000.00. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S. locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
