We are Lockheed Martin
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects within the Signature Management and Survivability Electromagnetics Hardware Design & Fabrication team. Serves as liaison between Engineering, Project Management, Logistics and SCM. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Responsibilities include:
-This is a technical liaison role working closely between Engineering and SCM Operations
-Participating in Cross Functional Engagements with Production Operations, Manufacturing, Program Management and Engineering
-Utilizing tools to generate reports and support management needs.
-Assists with program indoctrination, onboarding and bringing new team members up to speed and being effective contributors to the larger team.
-Maintains a close relationship to the team and consistently brings improvement suggestions to the forefront.
-Supports occasional Customer interface and project kick-off meetings

This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale. -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
-Experience in MFG Planning and Project Management
-Experience in Purchasing/Subcontract Management
-Experience in ERP or SAP systems (Purchasing/MRP)
-Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) & other data applications -Familiar with technical aspects related to engineering drawings, demand releases, configuration changes, Team Center workflows
-Presentation and Public Speaking
-Cross functional engagement with other supporting organizations
-Project ownership from conception to closure with minimal supervision
