      Job Responsibilities and Requirements

      The Project Management Coordinator is responsible for providing for providing project work and administrative project support to the RSL Project Management Office. Project coordination activities include, but are not limited to, preparing and maintaining project plans, preparing presentations and reports, and organizing documents. This role may also manage small sized projects within a Department by applying project management techniques to deliver results within established timeframes and quality measures.

      • Assists in daily coordination of projects including preparing and maintaining project plans, project schedules and staffing requirements. Tracks progress and identifies/resolves obstacles

      • Accountable for project reporting to ensure all information is collected and organized in a consistent manner while providing an accurate and up-to-date view of the project status

      • Accountable for following up on action items, tracking issues logs, documenting meeting minutes, etc.

      • Supports meeting preparations such as arranging meetings, developing agendas, and preparing progress reports

      • Create, organize and maintain project and file structure for new and existing projects

      • Organizes tasks efficiently to meet deliverables on time; notifies management when schedules cannot be met; recommends and implements alternatives/options to minimize delay.

      • Establish collaborative, productive working relationships with internal and external partners in order to resolve issues and keep the project moving

      • Conducts information searches, compiles data, and monitors and reports results as needed.

      • May perform other duties as assigned including special projects

      • Administers and maintains project management software and tools

      • Delivers results for small-size project initiatives within established timeframes and quality measures

      • Utilizes basic project management skills and the corporate standard system development methodology (or other industry methodology) to manage assigned projects

      • Champions organization's operational excellence and project management methodologies and tools

      • Contributes to continuous improvement of the PMO and supporting procedures to strengthen project execution and risk management

      • Promotes the benefits of change and act as a catalyst for change within the organization, as well as adapts to change imposed by others

      Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field

      • 1 year of project management experience required, technology related project experience preferred

      • Working knowledge/understanding of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle; ability to apply knowledge to manage priorities and workflow

      • Strong planning, organizing and time management skills

      • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines

      • Proven ability to develop strong, collaborative working relationships

      • Ability to interact and partner with internal and external customers, as well as various levels of management

      • Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills

      • Ability to identify and apply different communication mediums based on a content and audience at all levels to achieve intended goal

      • Strong collaborative skills, positive attitude, high energy, and results orientation.

      • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

      • Solid ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment

      • Advanced PC skill, including Sharepoint administration, MS Word, Powerpoint, Visio, and Excel

      • Effectively uses technical project management tools

      • Project Management qualification (PMI-PMP, PMI-CAPM) and knowledge of Agile would be desirable but not essential

      Ability to Travel: Up to 10%

      Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company .
