      About this role:

      Wells Fargo is seeking a Project Management Director to work across the Wholesale Operations organization and responsible for the portfolio of our Technology Transformation agenda.

      By leveraging and influencing key resources and stakeholders, the leader will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:


      In this role, you will:

      • Manage and develop multiple teams with focus on delivering common processes, governance, optimized change delivery approaches and policy alignment for key stakeholders to drive prioritization, accountability, financial documentation, metrics, and control management

      • Implementing and facilitating measurement, reporting and portfolio management routines to drive transparency and visibility throughout the change lifecycle

      • Ensuring initiatives are delivered on-time, on-budget and with quality to achieve our desired business outcomes

      • Evaluating solutions / technologies and looking across Wholesale Operations to facilitate re-use

      • Ensuring effective prioritization across Wholesale Operations

      • Ensuring project benefits are realized, and appropriately accounted for

      • Facilitating the discourse on how we best leverage technological change and how we react to changing technology capabilities

      • Collaborating and influencing functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives


      Required Qualifications, US:

      • 8+ years of Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

      • 4+ years of management experience


      Desired Qualifications:

      • A highly visible senior executive with a 8+ years relevant practical experience and a proven ability to drive transformation/change management initiatives across a wide range of functions.

      • The ideal candidate would have a blend of direct experience working within Banking Operations.

      • Background with a major consulting firm would be a plus

      • Accountable for managing large dollar cross business change management portfolios

      • Strong understanding of agile and project management

      • Agile or PMI Certificate

      • Proven ability in developing, executing, and managing change management strategies, deliverables and activities

      • Proven ability in establishing consistent change management standards, methods, and tools to be used throughout a program's / project's lifecycle

      • Exceptional communication skills, including well-developed verbal, written and presentation skills.

      • Must be able to quickly create concise, informative executive summaries for stakeholders that convey a well-developed “story” and advocate for a well-reasoned point of view.

      • Creative skills necessary to craft persuasive, well-researched narratives for senior consumption.

      • Aptitude for translating strategy into execution in a complex and cross-functional organization.

      • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to distil complex ideas into simple stories.

      • A self-starter with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently.

      • Ability to gain consensus and agreement across disparate functions, stakeholders, and technologists.

      • A fungible skillset that ultimately strengthens the leadership of Wholesale Operations, and could over time be deployed in many and various Banking Operations roles.

      • Must have ability to stay ahead in a constantly changing environment.

      Job Expectations:

      • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

      • Willingness to work on-site in one of the listed locations

      • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
