      Job Description

      Be an international interface to our Business Unit and Purchasing Organization
      Be responsible as Project Manager Purchasing for projects worldwide (customer & change projects) and represent your projects up to Executive Board Level
      Lead and coordinate change projects involving purchased parts and supplier activities.
      Take leading role in Ratio Project Planning (RPP), recognize and drive ratio ideas.
      Track progress and report and escalate within Purchasing and BU organization.
      Domestic and international travel up to 30%

      Qualifications

      Competences and Skills:

      Strong personality and communication skills, teamwork, assertiveness.
      High degree of goal and result orientation
      Independent and structured way of working.
      Can work autonomously, self directed. can collaborate within cross-functional project teams
      Professional experience in purchasing, manufacturing, project management and/or quality.
      Knowledge of the product development process as well as technical manufacturing processes and cost calculation.
      High proficiency in MS Office tools
      Fluent business level communication in both Spanish and English
      Preferred to have good knowledge in production processes, automotive industry supply, engineering change management.
      German knowledge would be an advantage.

      Training / Background:

      Degree in Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, comparable degree or equivalent experience.

      Training:

      Highly experienced in Automotive Industry, Supply Chain / Project Purchasing
      Leadership experience with large teams and a good overview and understanding of intercultural aspects
      High responsibility, able to travel.
      Profound knowledge in analysis / Problem solving skills.
      Good communication (presentation, feedback, negotiation).
      Self-directed / teamwork.
      High level of networking (suppliers, other plants, development, local and abroad).

      Experience or Specialization:

      5+ Years of experience in Automotive Industry: Project Purchasing, Project Management, Engineering Changes, Component and Process Launch

      Supply chain management.
