- Utilizing ServiceNow to manage all projects, including project tasks, stories, milestones, dates, and risks & issues.
- Utilizing ServiceNow, to collect, develop and analyze Agile data and metrics.
- Identifying differences in understanding issues or impediments as they occur; work with the team to problem-solve or escalate to management, as required.
- Collaborating with clients or end users to understand business requirements.
- Identifying and resolves impediments that slow development or prevent the team from meeting established goals or milestones.
- Preparing weekly, monthly, and reports, as required.
- Overseeing the timely delivery of project management requirements including briefings and other project management deliverables.
- Managing and responsible for scope management, schedule, budget, resource allocation, delivery date risk mitigation, and stakeholder deliverables related to multiple projects.
- Ensuring the team's "definition of done" is well defined for functional requirements, stories, sprints, and releases.
- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders, the customer, team members, and management.
- Providing feedback and guidance to managers on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives.
- Utilizing data from sprint retrospectives and other Agile metrics to coach and to recommend continuous improvements.
- Facilitating productivity through discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- BS or equivalent 5+ years of related experience as a Project Manager or a member of a software development team.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience with support tools, such as Microsoft Office, and collaborative communication tools, such a Microsoft Teams.
- Agile Methodology, Facilitation, and Scrum Software Development Demonstrated working knowledge of Agile approaches, roles, practices, and deliverables.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust prior to starting.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) - Scrum Alliance
- Analytical Thinking, Collaborative Communications, Communication Tools, and Continual Improvement Process.

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a motivated Project Manager with ServiceNow skills in order to support our customer, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As a Project Manager, you will facilitate and coach with Agile practices in a diverse and technically complex software development project. A practical understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, tools and concepts will be key in successfully performing in this role. This individual will be required to utilize the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Module within the ServiceNow platform in order to manage all project tasks and stories, therefore a strong understand and knowledge of the application is required.
