      Thomson Reuters provides world-class solutions of professional workflow, trade compliance and legal compliance for Financial institutions, Legal firms, Tax departments and Supply chain departments. We are seeking a self-motivated member to join our team, focusing on Project managing software implementation and professional service projects in Asia Market. Typical projects may include the entire lifecycle from Requirements through Deployment or specific parts of the lifecycle of a larger project.

      About the Role

      As the Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

      • Manage projects and lead Consultants in implementation and integration of Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE suite of software solutions at client sites in Japan, China, Korea and South East Asia.
      • Support the pre-sales activities from professional service side to conduct product / technology due diligence and develop the SOW
      • Create/review and manage project scope, schedule, delivery plan, validate any requirements, identify project dependence, risk and issue.
      • Proactively manage the changes of project scope and customers’ expectations.
      • Drive and balance project schedules and resources through close collaboration with key project stakeholders
      • Controls project deliverables, scope & expectations, and coordinates project progress with sponsors, steering committees, and senior leadership
      • Develops and tracks to detailed project plans including schedules, technical and business requirements, cost estimates, project cost, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans, and issue resolution plans
      • Lead functional & process requirement workshops with customers to define business, process, functional and data requirements, deliver Client trainings.
      • Act as the local team lead to coach and guide the technology & professional service team on the ground
      • Handle multiple projects simultaneously

      About You

      To be successful as the Project Manager, you will have the following:

      • Strong project management skills, has 5~10 years of experience successfully managing complex and multi-million-dollars client facing projects.
      • Proven experience in enterprise software implementations, project life cycles and software implementation methodologies.
      • Proven project management experience (in software solutions implementation projects involving Supply Chain Management or Logistics, Trade management, Indirect Tax, ERP systems
      • Experience working for consulting or professional services organizations specializing in tax technology and/or supply chain management, Global trade management.
      • The experience of program management is a plus
      • Experience of working in multi-national companies.
      • Independently coaches, mentors, and motivates project teams to influence a positive, accountable, and collaborative approach
      • Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders at all levels including business representatives, partners, customers, and consultants.
      • Flexibility to travel 10%~25 % to customer locations.
      • Native level Japanese language skills and good communication skills in English, both writing and speaking. Fluency in any other Asian language is a plus.
      • Quick learner and ability to work with minimum supervision.
      • Education / Certifications Required
      • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting & Finance or Project Management equivalent
      • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
