      Reporting to the EHE Senior Associate Dean, the EHE Special Projects Manager (SPM) will be responsible for the project management of a portfolio of initiatives, activities, events, and partnerships related to the implementation of the Equity-Centered Principal Initiative (ECPI) grant, funded through the Wallace Foundation. The SPM will manage grant activities and serve as the “point person” for specific initiatives to advance the work of the project. This position is responsible for providing support across various constituencies and planning and delivering high-quality support in a professional manner. The SPM will also be responsible for identifying, managing and supporting strategic initiatives tied to the grant and facilitating partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders. The SPM should have a good understanding of operational excellence, collaboration, and principles of project management.

      Project Management (50%)

      Work closely with Senior Associate Dean (SAD) and Chief of Staff (COS) to lead and manage the ECPI grant; coordinate a variety of activities, events, and projects; Produce and project manage other special initiatives or events, as they arise; Engage internal and external partners for collaborative work, including professional development, project meetings, and resource development. Monitor communication, timelines and milestones, and reporting requirements to ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Additional project management duties as assigned.

      Support (25%)

      Prepares reports and/or briefs for SAD and COS related to grant activities and requirements; Monitor grant budgets and deliverables on an evolving and flexible basis as directed by the SAD and COS; Organize and prepare for planning and implementing grant-related activities, including recurring meetings, annual events, and other deliverables. Additional grant support duties as assigned.

      Professional Development (20%)

      Coordinates and manages in-person and online ECPI professional learning programs, as outlined in grant goals and deliverables; Coordinates and disseminates content for professional development, including, formal structured workshops and sessions, institutes, and online modules. Engage EHE’s Center for Digital Learning and Innovation (CDLI) to plan and create online professional learning modules and resources. Promote and share information about professional learning opportunities, as necessary.

      Reporting (5%)

      Gather information to respond to grant reporting requirements; complete surveys, questionnaires, and reports as requested by partners and funders. Provide progress updates and reports for grant priorities and goals.

      Required:

      Master’s Degree and/or comparable work experience in administration, organizational management, creative project and event management, or communications

      · Minimum 3 years’ experience of management or coordinator experience, preferably in a higher education setting

      · Demonstrable evidence of managing multiple detailed projects from conception through to delivery and evaluation and meeting deadlines and organizing and prioritizing assignments.

      · Compelling interpersonal skills

      · Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to produce a variety of media

      · High-level presentation skills accompanied by a strong proficiency in the use of both on-line tools and Microsoft Office Suite

      · Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.

      · Demonstrable experience designing and delivering professional development or events/conferences, both in-person and online experiences

      · Grant management experience

      · Demonstrable experience of working on simultaneous, multiple projects
