      Project Manager

      We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Contract Manager at Olympic Dam in South Australia. This position preferably based in Adelaide, South Australia will be r motivated and talented Project Manager to support the Contract Manager at Olympic Dam in South Australia. This position preferably based in Adelaide, South Australia will be required to regularly travel to Olympic Dam.

      Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for leading a significant underground project. The project will encompass a broad range of disciplines such as civil, electrical, rail, mechanical and fabrication and will aim to provide a safe, reliable and efficient Projects program.

      About the role

      This position supports the portfolio of projects work inclusive of critical project control elements; including cost, schedule, quality, risk and information management to enable safe and efficient execution of works. Working closely with our client’s Engineers and project owners to ensure scope, cost and schedule objectives are met.

      About You

      You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:

      • Tertiary Engineering qualification or equivalent
      • Diploma and/or certificates (or greater) in Project Management (highly desired)
      • Previous experience Project Managing large scale projects (experience in mining and underground mining projects highly desirable)
      • Commercial aptitude
      • Hands on and / or trade qualification / experience beneficial
      • Strong skills in working with site engineering teams in developing project scopes, planning and estimating project delivery
      • Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand project control concepts
      • Experience in delivering multi-disciplined projects
