      Job Title: Project Manager - Housing Studio

      Job Description

      We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with 7 years of experience to take a leadership role in our Housing Studio. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills and technical knowledge to direct a multi-disciplinary project team in the design and documentation of large-scale housing projects, including mixed-use, multi-family, housing, and affordable housing. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on a variety of projects with a talented team of designers, planners, and architects.

      Responsibilities

      • Provide leadership through all phases of design and construction.
      • Manage, facilitate, and be accountable for all aspects of a project including schedule, budget, project deliverables, and design quality.
      • Responsible for client and consultant management.
      • Clearly communicate critical milestones and project requirements to the project team.
      • Assist in proposal development for potential projects.
      • Ensure quality control of the project and accountability for the quality assurance of the design documents.
      • Identify training needs for staff and opportunities for growth and communicate them to the Principal In-Charge.

      Essential Skills

      • Strong design skills and technical knowledge in Revit, AutoCAD, and construction documentation.
      • Experience in leading multiple projects and developing strong client relationships.
      • Ability to build and lead efficient project teams.
      • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
      • Strong collaboration and leadership abilities.
      • Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Suite programs.
      • Excellent presentation abilities.
      • Devotion to the creation of dynamic, engaging design.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Registered Architect.
      • 7 years of experience in architecture and project management.
      • Experience in multifamily and senior living projects.

      Work Environment

      The work environment includes 5 studios with 75 employees based in Baltimore. Our projects range from multifamily and senior living housing, interior design, graphics and signage, commercial retail, shell, interiors, restaurants, and international master planning and conceptual schematics. Our office is located in the recently renovated Class A office space on the 18th floor of the 100 N Charles Tower, offering a panoramic view of the city. Architects have the opportunity to work with various studios depending on workload, fostering a dynamic and versatile work experience.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $55.00/hr.
