      Position Overview

      The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end oversight of emergency and restoration services. From the initial site assessment to project wrap-up, this role ensures that work is completed efficiently, safely, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Serving as a primary point of contact for clients, insurance representatives, subcontractors, and consultants, the Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Manage restoration and insurance-related projects from start to finish, ensuring scope, quality, budget, and timelines are met
      • Create and edit detailed Xactimate estimates and floor plans that meet BELFOR and insurer requirements
      • Maintain accurate documentation in internal platforms and insurer systems (XactAnalysis, Encircle, DocuSketch, etc.)
      • Secure work authorizations, permits, and client deposits while ensuring job compliance and efficiency
      • Coordinate schedules for personnel and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved
      • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, adjusters, and consultants—ensuring transparency, timely updates, and satisfaction
      • Attend site inspections and communicate with regulatory officials to ensure legal and safety compliance
      • Strengthen client and industry relationships through networking, site meetings, and industry events
      • Manage project financials including billing, collections, and final sign-offs
      • Uphold safety standards by leading hazard assessments, enforcing PPE use, and reporting incidents
      • Respond to emergency calls and provide leadership in high-pressure situations
      • Offer feedback and mentorship to field teams to encourage continuous improvement
      • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned


      Qualifications

      • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism
      • Understanding of customer service principles and job site etiquette
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
      • Proven decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
      • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility toward client property and information
      • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
      • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR’s Auto Policy
      • 3+ years of experience in a project management role
      • Post-secondary education in Construction, Business, or Project Management
      • Experience with building codes, permits, and safety regulations
      • Proficiency with Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Encircle, and Docu Sketch is a plus
