      MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

      The Project Manager, Construction is mainly responsible for managing various construction projects intended to improve business results and/or the business environment. They are expected to assemble project teams, create project charters, manage to project deliverables and timelines, control project costs, and communicate project status to all interested parties. The Project Manager, Construction must be organized, have exceptional communication skills, be flexible yet thorough, and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while working productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

      1. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
      2. Establish and execute a project charter.
      3. Manage projects involving various functional areas and involving various phases of the improvement cycle from Needs Analysis to Deployment.
      4. Responsible for charter creation, team selection, accomplishment of deliverables on time and on budget, and communication of project status information.
      5. Document, analyze, and identify opportunities for improvement of current business processes and procedures.
      6. Implement new or improved processes, procedures and tools.
      7. Collect and analyze data to determine if implemented improvements have been adopted and have resulted in the intended business results.
      8. Develop workflows using BP Logix.
      9. Interface with all company departments and levels and conducts themselves in a highly professional manner.
      10. Other duties as assigned.

      REQUIRED:

      • Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years related experience in a professional environment working with department managers with hands-on experience in project management. In lieu of degree 6+ years of experience.
      • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

      PREFERRED:

      • Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company.
      • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
      • High degree of proficiency in Access, PowerPoint, and Visio.

      • Strong abilities in managing the daily operations of department(s) or work unit while developing short to medium term (1-3 years) goals.

      • Ability to direct the work of others and work as a team leader in attainment of goals.
      • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
      • Ability to handle and maintain extreme confidentially with employee records, compensation information, etc.
      • Ability to draw valid conclusions; apply sound judgment in making decisions, and make decisions under pressure.
      • Identify and solve problems in a timely and efficient manner by gathering and analyzing information skillfully.
      • Adapt to changes, delays, unexpected situations, and effectively manage competing demands.
      • Act dependably, including being consistently at work on time, following instructions, responding to direction, and soliciting feedback to improve performance.
      • Demonstrate an organized and systematic approach in carrying out assignments (i.e. very orderly and excel at cutting through confusion and turning chaos into order).

      Compensation Information


      $93,000.00-$121,000.00 / Annually
