      Strategy & Development

      The Department Strategy & Development oversees the strategic direction of the Supply Chain Planning Organization, ensuring it is consistent with the overarching Global Service Strategy. We serve as an anchor providing overall direction, guiding Priotization and supporting Execution of the long-term Strategy Goals coordinating activities across different Regional and Global functions. As a Global function we are responsible to standardize ways of working globally and roll out new procedures to our 5 Regions.

      Responsibilities

      As the Project Manager you will be responsible for:

      • Handling strategic projects with a time horizon of 1-2 years and with moderate to high complexity, including full ownership for multiple work streams within our 3 years Next Generation Supply Chain Strategy.
      • Delivering of agreed project scope within the tolerances for time, cost, quality, scope, risks and benefits
      • Plan, handle, carry out and control the project according to Vestas Governance and report to relevant stakeholders
      • Communicating with stakeholders and escalate when necessary
      • Developing and coordinating robust project organisations, handling all aspects of the project across the value chain
      • Ensuring compliance with Vestas Way to Market, Project Execution Model and Project Management best practices

      Qualifications

      To be qualified in this role you will need:

      • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Supply Chain or Engineering
      • 5+ years of Project Management experience
      • Experience in cross-cultural interactions and international stakeholders’ collaboration is highly desirable
      • Supply chain experience is a benefit
      • Fluent English language skills at negotiation level

      Additional information

      You will be travelling around 20 days per year on this position.

      The primary work location is Hamburg (Germany). In this role you will report directly to the Director, Supply Chain Strategy & Development.
