      FLSA Classification: Exempt- Salary

      Position Summary:

      Advancia Government Services seeks a Project Manager in Fort McCoy, Wisconsin to support the Logistics Management Services of the 88th Readiness Division. This contract aims to maintain and sustain all assigned equipment and materiel to the highest Army maintenance standards. The Project Manager shall provide contract management consistent with the Management Plan submitted in the contractor’s proposal. The Project Manager is expected to conduct operations with a clear focus on safety, security, energy conservation and environmental stewardship of all resources.

      Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Ensure proper methodology and procedures are followed to meet requirements in task order.
      • Attending meetings, briefings and conferences as required. Attend monthly meetings with the COR, as requested.
      • Provide management and oversight of all contractors assigned to the requirement.
      • Collect report data from all 88th sites and provide monthly report of contractor activity to the Government as required by the contract deliverables.
      • Input and complete travel requests, book travel and submit TER’s/RFPs as needed.
      • Answer questions as needed from the Operations Manager in a timely manner
      • Act as the liaison between both the COR/Government and the Operations Manager
      • Communicate with the Operations Manager, preferably by email or phone, as needed
      • General Administrative duties; email, transcription, scanning and documentation
      • Assist in writing position descriptions for numerous contract positions
      • Take responsibility of monthly and annual financial report tracking
      • Process and Submit personnel reports and reviews
      • Report personnel and contract issues to the Operations Manger
      • Schedule meetings, inspections, site visits, etc. as needed
      • Responsible for ensuring best hiring practices; complete necessary internal required documents for hiring, terminating and changing an employees’ status within the company.
      • Manage all timesheet data for employees on the contract; interface with employees and answer questions regarding timesheets, schedules, PTO, etc. as needed. Communicate difficult questions to Operations Manager.
      • Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with your team members, vendors, subcontractors, management and other departments.
      • Must demonstrate forward thinking, excellent communication skills and a high level of customer service.

      Education, Clearance & Experience Requirements:

      • Minimum of five (5) years documented experience in directing and managing a multi-functional Army Reserve organization, or above, logistics support activity.
      • Bachelor’s Degree
      • Active Secret Clearance
      • Knowledge of all Army logistics functional areas to understand how the Army logistics system (Maintenance and Supply) works and interact with each other.
      • Ability to obtain and maintain knowledge of Army logistics information systems, capabilities, and outputs as they pertain to the PWS and how they interface with national logistics databases.
      • Ability to operate independently and make timely decisions to effectively manage a contract and on-site operations.
      • Highly skilled in organizing, developing, coordinating and evaluating plans among numerous military units and RD activities to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans to meet each requirement on time.
      • Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions.
      • Knowledge of financial management.
      • Highly skilled in verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports, plans and memorandums of instruction.
      • Personal initiative and critical thinking skills will be essential to complete job duties with minimal guidance.
      • The position is deadline driven, project managers must be able to set priorities, take ownership of projects, work efficiently, and provide a consistent level of high quality in a high-pressure environment.
      • Project managers must demonstrate innovation, excellent communication and organization skills, and a high level of customer service.
      • Selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport
