      Project Manager I - NS

      LOCATION: Corporate DIVISION: SVP-CMXO

      FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

      The Project Manager (“PM”) provides project management support for designated projects and works collaboratively with the Project Leads and Sr. Manager – Project Management, to ensure timelines and expectations are met. The PM coordinates with Project Leads to take the initiative to drive projects from inception to completion, identify and document project requirements and support the financial institution on various initiatives. The PM works with Project Leads to keep all stakeholders apprised of project status and manage issues to resolution. The PM takes the initiative with Project Leads to ensure all aspects of the project life cycle (initiation, plan, execute, control, close, post-closing review) are accounted for. The PM shall focus on the management of project risks, including forecasting challenges and devising risk mitigation strategies. The PM and Project Leads are responsible for driving engagements forward, ensuring projects progress as planned and proper controls in place for project activities and timelines .

      Reports to: Sr. Manager – Project Management

      Contacts: All Bellco employees, executive staff, OTS, core system contacts (OSI), support system contacts

      QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

      Education:

      • Some college preferred with coursework in a related field or equivalent experience.
      • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

      Experience:

      • 2+ years of experience in a member facing project/program delivery role within a professional or financial services organization with specifically demonstrated success managing multiple projects and disparate initiatives on a long term-basis required.
      • 2+ years working in a collaborative environment.
      • Experience with defining and documenting requirements, testing and implementation.

      Skills:

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Results oriented, high energy, self-motivated.
      • Outstanding analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
      • Ability to work as a team player, strong interpersonal, strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
      • Ability to adapt project management tools and techniques to meet the needs of the Project Lead and overall success of the project.
      • Ability to take initiative and proactively anticipate project needs, next steps and potential issues.
      • Detail oriented, flexible and works well within a fast-paced team environment.
      • Strong MS Office skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other recommended project management tools.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

      1.Demonstrates Bellco’s Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members, prospective members, and personnel in Bellco departments.

      1. The PM is accountable for the execution and delivery of projects ensuring uninterrupted progress or delays in coordination with the Project Lead.
      2. The PM shall manage assigned projects in accordance with the Bellco Project Management Procedures and Processes Guide.
      3. The PM shall have the ability to work directly with Project Leads to develop strategic project delivery plans, create detailed schedules, establish project controls, identify issues, develop risk management plans and project reporting.
      4. The PM is accountable to work with the Project Lead on the progress of the project, that involves managing timelines, creating and maintaining project schedules, which includes key deliverables, milestones, and dependencies.
      5. Ensure proper documentation for project decisions, rationale for changes, go-live plans, post go-live plans, post live go-live issues with resolutions plans and document project lessons learned.
      6. Gather and document with project team input, the testing communication approach and ensure proper testing plan documentation is saved in project repository.
      7. Schedule and facilitate planning and project status meetings with the Project Lead.
      8. Identify, assess and track potential risks, issues and dependencies, to create appropriate mitigation plans.
      9. Utilize Bellco standard templates for project artifacts.
      10. Actively monitor and track scope, project milestones, deliverables and proactively work with the Project Lead to minimize project delays.
      11. The PM will communicate to the Sr. Manager of Project Management the status of projects, challenges and concerns, to facilitate weekly project status reports.
      12. Coordinate and manage projects across various functional groups, communicating potential risks and impacts identified.
      13. Utilize PMO collaborative systems to report project status and submit change requests (scope, schedule, resources, etc.).
      14. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Project Leads, subject matter experts and all personnel across the organization.
      15. Regular and punctual attendance is required.

      Non-exempt branch roles may earn monthly bonuses for meeting production goals and quarterly bonuses for meeting team goals.
      Exempt branch roles may earn quarterly bonuses for production and team goals.
      Exempt non-branch management roles may be eligible for an annual managerial bonus.
      Non-branch non-management roles may be eligible for on-the-spot bonuses for extraordinary performance.
