- Technical ability to interpret customer specifications and provide a design which meets all requirements, especially quality and schedule
- Responsible for ensuring a quality drawing package is released to manufacturing
- Review BOM’s, maintain schedules, and review QC forms
- Facilitate and lead detailed project meetings and internal discussions
- Recognize a need for and champion areas for product and process improvements
- Effectively problem solve project issues, make sound decisions, and provide timely customer solutions
- Responsible for managing larger volumes of standard projects or a variety of complex, non-standard projects
- Assist as appropriate in the development of project estimates and ensures the implementation of strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed business requirements and customer expectations
- Mentor others in project management processes, tools, and interpersonal skills to ensure successful project completion
- Work safely in and around energized electrical enclosures
- Customer visits (travel approximately 10% of the time)
- Minimum of seven years of proven project management experience, preferrably in manufacturing or construction related fields
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering related field, or ten years of proven project management experience with Associate Degree in Engineering related field
- Understanding of the theories and fundamentals of electrical circuits and related components
- Experience reading schematics and wiring diagrams

We are growing! Our Systems Control location in Iron Mountain, MI is looking for a Project Manager II who wants to grow with us as we grow! As a Project Manager II, you will manage a diverse group of internal and external customers, providing extraordinary customer service by providing frequent, specific updates regarding current projects. You will ultimately be accountable for assigned projects from concept to completion; effectively managing project schedules and margins.
