- Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.
- The primary purpose of this seasoned professional includes using discretion and judgement to independently lead project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management on moderately-complex projects.
- This seasoned incumbent effectively uses structured project governance systems for monitoring and tracking deliverables and resolving issues, ensuring delivery to the project plan and budget on significant projects.
- The project manager applies professional project management skills to plan, monitor and manage projects from initiation through completion. This includes developing assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project and driving the project to successful completion.
- This incumbent provides for progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management, to include organizing and directing team members, and ensuring that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time.
- The project manager monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
- This seasoned incumbent ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
- The incumbent may coach and provide expertise to other professionals and support staff in the project management discipline.
- Accountable for supporting, upholding, and engaging in Compassion's core "Cultural Behaviors" in all internal and external communication and relationships.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Seven years Relevant experience working in this or a related field.
- Substantial experience in managing large scale, global and complex project.
- Experience in creation and updating of Visual Dashboards
- Certification from a nationally or internationally recognized organization in a related field.
- Certificate in Project Management

This seasoned project manager plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion. The project manager also secures required resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. He or she manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
