- Bachelor's: Business Administration, Hospital Administration or Healthcare Management
- 5 years recent relevant experience.
- Proven practical knowledge of project management processes/ techniques including knowledge of project management software.

This position plans, organizes, monitors, and oversees multiple medium-sized projects and/or 1-3 large-sized projects in support of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) initiatives across Sutter Health.
The Project Manager III, Mergers & Acquisitions will be responsible for providing Mergers & Acquisition trainings to workforce and also for developing playbooks.
Responsible for project work plan development, establishment of project communication and risk management plans, workflow process redesign, metric development and measurement. This position assigns project tasks to designated team members and/or coordinator(s). Performs independently under broad policy guidelines and exercises expert authority over assigned projects. Identifies and escalate issues to project sponsors/owners. Uses project management tools and standards as outlined by Sutter Health and the project management institute to ensure projects stay on track to complete deliverables and project integration with other initiatives.
This is a hybrid role and requires 8-12 days onsite.Job Description:
The candidate selected for this role will come on site for work and this is NOT a remote role. Candidate must live in the northern California Sutter Health footprint and a commutable distance to either our Sacramento or Emeryville office.
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Pay Range is $53.59 to $80.39 / hour. Emeryville Pay Range is $61.63 to $92.45 / hour.The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
