What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process customer requests for network infrastructure and telecommunication projects using the internal ticketing system
- Schedule and attend assessment meetings, evaluate vendor quotes, and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with various departments to procure electrical and wiring plans for new buildings and remodels
- Manage procurement and installation of network and telecommunication equipment, ensuring user acceptance
- Define telecommunication call routing and service functionalities in collaboration with DES divisions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3 or more years of experience in project coordination and management (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of telephony/network hardware installation experience
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of project management/coordination experience
- Valid Level One fingerprint clearance card as per Arizona Revised Statute 41-1969
- Successful completion of background and reference checks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- Experience with VOIP and understanding of the OSI model
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Google G-Suite applications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in managing vendor contracts and overseeing installation processes
