Job Description

- The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the project/s by actively leading the project core team within a matrix organization, in their efforts to achieve project objectives in terms of financial, quality, schedule targets
- Responsible for the Project WBS, Detailed Project Schedule, Customer Interface, Project Risk, Opportunity and Improvement Management, Project Launch, Contractual Obligation Management, Budget allocation and monitoring, Project Reporting
- Lead multi-functional business project teams using a company-specific product launch process (GDPEP). Matrix functions include Sales, Product Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Materials, and Finance
- Provide effective communication on all aspects of the project to internal stakeholders up to and including ZF senior management, by regular project reporting, ensuring requirements and deliverables definition within the constraints of automotive compliance
- Main interface to internal and external stakeholders for all aspects of the current state, progress and alignment of the product and / or project
- Ensure project profitability, manage the Business Case as well as the project budget in coordination with the project controlling
- Conduct project meetings and management gate reviews
- Maintain comprehensive project reports including schedule and metrics status, open issues and actions, and change management (EC) summary
- Analyze potential risks and their implication on the project / platform / organization and thereafter define risk reduction and mitigation plans
- Establish, update, and implement processes to ensure timely completion of all programs/projects (internal or external, eg VA/VE, ECNs and customer driven changes).
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Adminstration, Engineering or other related fields
- Automotive business-related experience, minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience
- Project Managementunderstanding with clear business acumen and interest in product strategy
- Market knowledge on customer and competitors’ trends and actions
- Demonstrated organizational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Ability to influence in a matrix management environment
- Excellent communication skills (presentation and negotiation) and team working skills with a strong goal oriented approach and drive for results
- Master's Degree (preferred)
- PMP certification (preferred)
