- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing, to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicating project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders, including senior management and customers.
- Budget Management: Managing project budgets, tracking financial expenditures, and ensuring compliance with budget constraints
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring that new products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the introduction process.
- Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to ensure successful launch.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Problem Solving: Addressing and resolving issues that arise during the NPI process.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Training and Development: Supporting the development of project management and operational excellence skills within the organization.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all NPI project tracking, communication, and documentation.
- Create and maintain NPI project timelines, task trackers, and action item lists in coordination with engineering and operations.
- Assist with document control, including the organization and routing of prints, BOMs, routers, and work instructions.
- Input and manage data in ERP and PLM systems related to NPI part numbers, assemblies, materials, and routings.
- Support material planning and procurement tracking in coordination with supply chain and purchasing.
- Schedule and facilitate NPI status meetings, ensuring clear documentation of updates and decisions.
- Help prepare internal and external presentations or reports for leadership, customers, or quality audits.
- Follow up on outstanding items to keep NPI projects moving forward smoothly.
- Strong Project Management Skills: Experience in planning, organizing, and managing projects, including developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to effectively work with and lead cross-functional teams.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, product development, and quality control.
