      over 80 coaches which, together, have a successful history of providing professional

      development to thousands of educators with the overall goal of strengthening teacher

      effectiveness and leadership to improve student achievement.

      Position summary:

      Teaching Matters is seeking project and data management support with special focus on its

      programming needs, while also supporting data management, analysis, clean-up and

      reporting. The position will require meticulous documentation and tracing of the

      implementation of all programs to ensure quality services are provided to our clients and

      program goals are not only reached but that outcomes are clearly communicated.

      This is a one year position beginning in June, 2025 and ending in August, 2026 with the

      possibility of a renewal.

      Responsibilities:

      The project and data manager will support:

      1. Data collection and follow-up for schools in special projects, supporting nearly 400

      schools in several districts;

      2. Collect, clean, and support some analysis of project outcome data for the VP of

      Programs and Services for the initiative, as well as supporting the collection,

      cleaning, and organization of articulated requirements per the central NYCPS

      contracted obligations of data, dosage, and actions taken by field staff;

      3. Support any follow-up of licenses, access to LMS and other platforms for clients,

      basic calendaring and setting up of meetings with the VP; and other supports as

      agreed upon and directed by the VP;

      4. Manage, along with the VP and coaches, the creation of assignments and schedules

      for NYC Reads/Solves schools and support the daily administrative tasks required

      for reporting vendor logs and other data collection)

      5. Support and lead compiling of information on the initiative for the VP and Associate

      Director staff in preparation of meetings with central NYCPS staff and district staff members.

      6. Within this scope of work, ensure:

      a. All project requirements are delivered on-time, within scope and aligned to

      reporting requirements;

      b. Creation of a detailed project plan to track progress;

      c. The use of appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project

      scope, schedule and costs and to measure project performance using

      appropriate systems, tools and techniques;

      d. Reporting and escalation to management as needed in a timely manner;

      e. Creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation.

      7. Support the finance team with preparation of data required for payment;

      8. Provide, with support and under the direction of evaluators, data collection and

      clean up, management, and analysis for other key projects and initiatives as

      appropriate.

      Project Manager Experience Requirements:

      * At least 3 to 4 years experience in project management or a similar role. An associate’s or bachelor's degree or similar is preferred.

      * Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information, and develop alternative solutions.

      * Ability to manage difficult situations, respond promptly to customer needs and meet commitments.

      * Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

      * Ability to communicate in a professional manner at all times with end users, customers, vendors, and teammates, including senior management.

      * Experience with industry software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.

      * Proven written and verbal communication skills.

      * Ability to interact with a diverse work team.

      Level 5 - Manager - Salary Range: $92,887 - $112,442
